5 out of 5 stars Best tango CD I found in Buenos Aires.......2004-01-13

I am leaving Buenos Aires this week after a two months' stay here. I was looking for a tango CD to bring home to Europe to my friends and family. I was walking down Calle Florida when I heard the song that stopped me from thinking what I was thinking at that moment (something sad, no doubt) and that made my feet turn left to enter the music shop that was playing the song. It turned out to be Oblivion, from this CD.

I was trying to explain how the song made me feel but sometimes there is not enough words... it told me everything I needed to hear to make my day worth living; to relieve me from sadness of my departure.

And then it was followed by Cumparsita, a gentle, soothing and loving Cumparsita, not the agressive and tango-ish like that I was used to hear.

I just stayed there - still and speechless - until they played the CD till the end. Then I bought it. I have been listening to it ever since.
