Some of my new favorite songs from Ayu.......2003-02-17

Three great songs on this single. Independent, July 1'st, and Hanabi. Hanabi is the ballad of the single, it's quite sweet. It's become one of my favorite songs. Independent and July 1'st are both very energetic and catchy songs. Of course, since it's Ayu all these songs have been tied to some other promotion. Hanabi was used for a Tu-ka phones CM, July 1'st was used for a Kose cosmetics CM, and Independent was the Image Song for a Japanese baseball event from 2002 (I don't know the name of it since it was in Japanese on the label)
When this single was first released it came in four different versions, all containing the same songs, but with different covers and pictures inside the booklets. All of them are very nice, it's Ayu on the beach wearing torn jeans, a bikini top and sandals,on some she's posing on a sky blue Harley Davidson motorcycle. A while after it was released, Avex re-released it as a limited edition 'digi-pack' single, meaning that it came with ALL the images from the previous four versions.
This CD also includes the instrumental versions of the songs so you can sing along or whatever.
Also, this is a COPY CONTROL CD, meaning that you won't be able to save the songs to your computer. You might want to call, say a Kinokuniya bookstore or ask online somewhere to find out the full details about the copy control since the label information is in Japanese only.
