Torquato Neto was an inovative poet, that helped create the Brazilian music movement called Tropicalismo. He could translate advanced, modern references into clear, enchanting verse.

He was also an excellent lyricist. In that case, he would become another person, and write lyrics that would fit well with the melodies. But wouldn't be as poetic as his poems.

It was kind of a magic, that resulted in strong, unforgettable songs.
