I was nervous buying this cd, given that there are no sample tracks to listen to. My fear was that another promising acoustic cd would turn out to be "smooth jazz" - something that I loathe. I'm happy to say that the cd fulfilled my hopes. The title is accurate - there are no other instruments used or cheesy beats added to the music - it is just 3 guitars playing Christmas songs. The cd is virtually jazz-free, and the few places where a jazz feel creeps in, it is more along the lines of a big-band jazz guitar, which puts a little more funk in it. Nevertheless, most of the tracks are classically approached and beautifully arranged. I recommend this cd highly.

The selection of songs on this CD is great, and the arrangements are fabulous! The songs keep going around in my head after I have heard them. I am so glad to find this CD in time for the holidays; it will be a perfect gift for my kids' teachers and my coworkers!
