This album is a celebration of the Brazilian lyrics of Ronaldo Bastos. He worked with Milton Nascimento (who also produced this CD), and other songwriters in quite a variety of styles. The performers too range from straight MPB (Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa) to the rock-oriented Roupa Nova and RPM, via a Sunshine Band sort of sound from Os Paralamas do Sucesso, which according to my dictionary translates as The Mudguards of a Hit...
