The whole country of The Netherlands was schocked,when the news came out one of the most popular singers Andre Hazes has died(september 2004)just two monthe before he celebrated his 25th aniversary in the recording industry,by performing in front of 60,000 fan in the Amsterdam Arena. two month later he would return again in a packed stadium to be given the last fearewell by his fans,this memorial was broadcasted live on tv. Such a national mornin was never seen in Holland for any cebrity,it was like Elvis died again,but this was our King(of the life song) and at only 53 years old we lost him so sudenly. Andre's songs wil be loved for genarations to come because everybody has been where he sings about. Andre you are truly our king and will be missed. This cd "Nu" (now) is one of his latest studio recordings(2001) the album "Strijdlustig" would be his last and the cd 25 Jaar Hazes was just released several weeks before his death.
