A Musical Tapestry!.......2004-04-24

I had first discovered Juergen Novotny on MP3.com sometime around 2000 and was amazed with his compositions. I only wish there were more Juergen Novotny albums available. This artist is truly a fine craftsman when it comes to building and creating a fine work of art. Art for the ears as a tapestry would be for the eyes. The dimension to Juergen Novotny's music is deep and multi-layered. It is this type of composition that lends itself to numerous and repeated listenings without tiring of it. Similar to the orchestral works of Cusco, this music is not only crafted well in melody and rhythm, but is also professionally mastered and reveals each instrument as though you were there live and experiencing every sound in all its crisp clarity. Juergen Novotny's music definitely has the unique and often rare quality that is not only a pleasure to listen to, but also to feel with the expression and purpose of a story. I whole-heartedly recommend Juergen Novotny to anyone who appreciates music that's finely crafted.
