the five-star rating system does this album no justice. This is simply one of the finest examples of tabla mastery every to be recorded. Sahai's skill is so incredible that it elevates your consciousness everytime you play it, throwing the listener into deep meditation. He has awakened divine rhythms from the depths of the universe and we are extremely fortunate to have an opportunity to listen. Sahai acts as a medium to channel cosmic forces in the form of unbelievably intricate taals, as do all virtuosos. I am deeply indebted to him.
