5 out of 5 stars Burnin!.......2002-05-09

Awesome! I can say nothing but good things about this CD. Just listening to this CD makes me feel like I'm lying out on a beach somewhere, sipping a tropical drink and working on my tan. Oh, and the music's really great too, in case I didn't get that point across. Perfect harmonies, perfect playing... it's easy to tell that a lot of hard work went into making this CD for my enjoyment. Anyone who loves steel bands should own this CD, and for anyone who doesn't yet know much about the sound, this is a great place to start. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Kickin music!.......2001-07-06

This is an awesome CD! You don't realize how versatile steel band music can be until you listen to all the tracks on this album. There's not only the standard upbeat, fun, get the caribbean party goin music, but there's some relaxing and mellow tunes there, too. Keep em coming, guys!

5 out of 5 stars Trippin' the Pan Fantastic!.......2001-07-02

It's been a few years since I've heard a new recording from this pan pack, and I must say that I am still impressed. The arrangements from Chris Tanner and international superstar Tom Miller range from the sublime to soulful, and the playing is first class. I rate it a must-have for anyone who loves steel bands, the Islands, or great music!

5 out of 5 stars A must have for steel band lovers everywhere!.......2001-04-14

This album sets new standards for steel bands everywhere. Pans never sounded so good. The track selections demonstrate a wide variety of styles and truly capture all of the voices of the band. This is especially apparent in the bass pans which are often more difficult to hear in live performances. The solos are exceptional and the band grooves right with them. This CD makes me look forward to the future endeavors of Chris Tanner and Tom Miller. Fun, musical, and a pleasure to listen to; highly recommended!
