Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Pretentious album.......2001-05-28

For the cover of this album, Leon Lai and his producer appears to be aiming for something more chic. However, the effect is pretentious. Besides, what matters most is the music, which is definitely substandard. Both the arrangement and the singing are uninspiring. I'm afraid this sloppily produced album cannot rescue Leon Lai's declining career.

1 out of 5 stars Extremely Bad Taste.......2000-09-15

Boring, poorly produced, bad tasted. Our expectation for Leon had just got less and less. This album is another rush production of the same old music for the last 3-4 years. Garbage.

1 out of 5 stars One of The Worst.......2000-09-09

Now let's face it. Focus your attention just on the music in this album. Forget about the supurb packaging. Forget about the bonus VCD with 5 music videos. Plain music talk here, this album is not worth the money at all.

The once formidable partnership of producer Mark Lui and Leon Lai had grown out-dated, boring, and in fact, annoying. The entire album is flled with the usual same-old same-old formulaic dance-beat pops that are not longer CATCHY, but BORING. Album title song "Eyes Go Traveling", "That's Life", "Love Me When You're Free"... these are not formulaic dance-pop with not much effort and heart. Performance is mechanical, listless, and deadly.

Let's face it. Leon's career has gone down, major time. He's still got the fans who enthusiastically cheer for him with huge eye-catching red banners. Sorry this album cannot make it to my CD stack. If I'm allowed the option, I'll rate it as O Star.

1 out of 5 stars Bland and substandard.......2000-05-17

This cd is very disappointing. The music is bland and the songs are of the same old type. Leon Lai's ordinary vocals just can't cope. This is a substandard cd without much substance.

5 out of 5 stars Leon has done it again!.......2000-05-01

Fantastic album, but quite thin just like his former albums.
