A wonderful "Hawaiian Engineering" disc.......1999-07-18

This CD was released after changes in the band components: Licks left the group, and others guitarrists joined it. Maybe this disc loses in quality when compared with another ones from Engenheiros do Hawaii. But it brings some unfforgetable songs, like "A Promessa" and "Simples de Coracao".

After Licks (guitars) left the band, they've experienced a long time without composing. Finally, with a deep change on the band structure (and the joining of many components), Engenheiros do Hawaii shows to us the result of experience and patience with this magnific album. Two things draw your atention while listening to the disc: one, the Achordeon solos of Cassarin (new in the band) right on the first tracks ("A perigo"; "Simples de Coracao"). Two, many lyrics are about regional themes of the south of Brazil, specially "Ilex Paraguariensis".

Simples de Coracao is a wonderful album, from the beggining to the end.
