This is among the best recordings of spiritual/soufi arabo-andalusian music, mostly from the middle ages. The very unusual here is that it is sung by a female singer who has a beautiful haunting voice. All members of the ensemble are top musicians and singers. It is lively and spiritual at the same time. The sound quality is also very good. Highly recommended!
