Elides Ochoa is the dedicated master of old style Son Montuno & this CD is one of the best examples of that music & his guitar playing & singing... no horns- as on many other CDs of his music- just percussion, tumbao bass, cuban guitars & vocals... as a guitarist, this is the way i prefer my Cuban music- where the guitar & bass are sound clear & unobstructed... if you like the real old style Son, then this is one of the very best examples of that music !!!
