Pakistan's Best Album Ever.......2005-01-02

Junoon is the best rock band in South Asia and one of the biggest bands in the world. The album that propelled them to this position is this one. The album blends rock music with mystical beats of the subcontinent and smashing poetry of philosophers like Iqbal and Rumi. Another strength of this album is the fact that a lot of songs are politically conscious and reflect the turmoil faced by young Pakistanis in a politically unstable environment. This album was released in early 90's but still remains a source of inspiration and awe for upcoming bands in Pakistan and India. Buy it, its worth every cent!

Best Album by a Pakistani Band.......2003-02-13

Inquilaab like the Beatle's "Revolution" is sure to take your breath away. Originally launched in 1995-1996, this album was greatly responsible for Junoon's popularity. Unlike most Pakistani bands that offer very little imagination and creativity, the songs on this album are totally original and novel, blending the music of the East and West. Inquilaab is definetly Junoon's best work. Hereafter, the band went from Udru Rock to Sufi music which in my view is not what Junoon was all about.

The album has no best song, almost all of the songs are good enough to make them the best. "Chalay thay saath saath" is a slow song yet very moving. On the other hand, "Mera Mahi" is fast and rhythmic. However, the former is probably my favorite song of the album.

In my view, this album is probably the best Pakistani album. Vital Signs with "Hum Tum" would probably be coming up second (though a lot of people would totally disagree). If you're into Pakistani music with a western touch, these two albums should be on top of your hitlist.

I'm from India and Junoon are one of my fave bands! They are just great! The way they blend the east and west together with their music is amazing! I'd recommend this album to anybody who enjoys good music.

I'm a huge fan of Junoon since 1994 and there isn't one song of Junoon out there which i don't know and I love this album, this was the first Junoon album i bought and i still have it, Songs like Dosti and Husan Walo r alwayz there to pump u up, go for this album! actually, go for any junoon album and u shall not be disappointed!

Inquilaab in my opinion is the best junoon album and one of the best ever released in asia.. or anywhere in the world for that matter..its original.. blends east and west like nothing else.. i bought it 6 years ago and i still listen to it.. each and every song is awesome in this album.. i would recommend it to anyone who loves music..
