Pirated CD - no good!.......2000-10-12

This is an illegal CD. DRG has no rights to put this CD out for sale. The audio quality is very bad and it's just another pirated CD of Amýlia Rodrigues (there a bunch of them out there). If you like Amýlia Rodrigues or you want to discover one of the greatests singers of al time look for the official releases by EMI Records. They're the only ones with good audio quality. I strongly recommend "The Art of Amýlia", the best compilation about Amýlia.

A great Artist.......2000-05-12

Amaila is one of the best if not the best fado singer in the world. With her amazing voice she can move you through a set emotions like no one else. I does not matter if you know Portuguese or not, this CD transcends language. I would also recommend Dulce Pontes if you like this kind of music.
