Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Poor us, that they're gone.......2004-01-15

This is a gorgeous CD, with excellent musicianship and arrangements. I wish now that I had scooped up their other CDs when it was easy. Quite a shame that they are out of print now, and moreso that the group is no more. Order this; the wait for delivery will be worth it. SONGS FOR MIDWINTER is also lovely.

5 out of 5 stars get up from yopur chair and find it now........1999-04-10

As the Poor Clare's former bassist and Beth Patterson's best friend, I was compelled to write in about what a splendid effort this CD is from the band. Beth's virtuosity continues to shine, and Justin and Patrick are clearly in their respective elements. My personal favorite is the Manx tune "Three Little Boats," but don't be swayed by my opinion....listen and learn for yourself. If you ever find yourself in the innards of the city of my birth, seek them out.

5 out of 5 stars An excellent album from an excellent group!.......1999-01-05

I highly recommend this album for anyone who loves celtic or accoustic music. It's simply fantastic from start to finish.
