Customer Reviews:
Ok, so I got to be honest..........2003-05-12
Ok, honestly I bought this CD because it complemented my brand new Mercedes... But the more I listened to it the more I liked it... It's a great alternative, non commercial CD.
Don't Close the Door!!.......2003-04-10
I have owned this CD for about 3 years and I still love it."Don't Close the Door," is one of the best songs on the disc, with great lyrics. If you are in the mood "Sacred Cow" is great, but if you are not it doesn't work. If you are in the mood though, this CD can be listened to over and over and over again. Buy IT!!!
Great music, great memories too!.......2003-04-02
I had no idea the song "Whoever You Are" was ever featured in a commercial. I remember it from high school, when my friends and I used to listen to the Sacred Cow tape over and over on our frivolous pubescent outings. Don't let the "release date" from Amazon fool you. This album was first released in 1997, and it got little airplay on alternative stations. Apparently a commercial made it big. In any case, these guys deserve any fame that comes their way, because they're incredibly talented. You'd have to be, to put together an eclectic offering such as "Sacred Cow." Although the music is firmly rooted in the 90s for me, it has a timelessness that any music connaisseur will appreciate.
I feel special.......2002-10-13
I got this CD at one of those seedy outlet stores .... At the time I had never heard of Geggy Tah, but the cover looked neat, so I got it. ...I brought it home and listened, it was like nothing I had ever heard before. Geggy Tah has quite a unique sound and that's their main appeal to me. But I still feel warm and fuzzy knowing that I got this CD so cheaply, ...
not what i expected.......2002-08-13
I had obviously heard the song "Whoever You Are" and chose this disc for that reason. also, I read a couple of glowing Amazon reviews, which seemed to be from some very satisfied customers. However, now that I've heard the entire disc, I have to say that I do not agree. The one song is excellent, but the rest of the disc is erratic; too many styles mashed together. I do recommend their more recent disc "Into The Oh". More upbeat and pop-sounding.
