A delightful encounter.......2004-12-12
I was walking down at Galleria mall, Houston one afternoon. Then I heard a live performance down the aisle. The music is soothing and the guitar is wonderfully melodious and at the same time enchanting.
I play guitar and I can tell you that Rom Ryan blends flamenco and other styles in a unique way that it flows naturally.
Needless to say, after a couple of songs, I was sold and after purchasing Zazu and Blame It On The Moon(2004), I knew I found a gem and it was definitely a delighful encounter.

If You Like Strunz & Farah..........2004-04-07
This cd is full of great songs. It is a sort of flamenco/jazz fusion, much like Strunz & Farah. Moodafaruka are not nearly as talented guitar players as Strunz & Farah who are among the very best in the world but Moodafaruka has put eleven really catchy tunes on this cd. Writing great music is their forte, I suppose. I highly recommend this to Strunz & Farah fans who crave more music of this genre.
