Dance and sing!.......2004-11-04

For anyone who enjoys a GREAT world beat band, this is a CD to have in your collection. These gals are a very talented group of musicians - a tight-playing band - lead by Dana's strong vocals. You will hear some excellent African drumming, some steel pan and other wonderful instruments mixed in, and PLENTY of great dancing rhythms. There is no way you can listen to these songs sitting down. And don't miss the positive messages in the lyrics. Very uplifting!

Heard this CD at an afternoon party - really noticeably uplifting, great rhythms, immediate "I gotta have it" response (which is unusual for me because I don't buy a lot of music, although some). Amazingly consistent unobtrusively fun music, inspired movement, but not obnoxious or pretentious, not in a self-conscious way like some. And consistent - from the first cut I noticed through the end, and then put it on again - not a lapse in the high energy, high frequency output. Really enjoyed. Am determined to find it and get it and play it often!
