u.k. lost psychedelic gems.......2006-12-20

if you love rare 60s, style comps"nuggets" "pebbles" "cherrystones" then this little baby is for you.many of the bands on here adore beatles, donavan, procal harum,cpt beefheart,etc, and all the better for it i say.but two bands on here that alone are worth the cost of the cd will amaze you they both love "syd barratt" era,"pink floyd" first "pussy" (dont laugh)with "comets" a psychedelic instrumental freakout(wow) think of the place in london 67 where syd and the boys ruled yes thats right seminal 60s, hip club the "u.f.o." well this band could open for the floyd(if only they did) yes it is that good the second standout classic is the mighty "forever amber" with "the dreamer flies back"(wow again)this song is full of studio tricks like reverb,space echo,etc,that will make your head spin and spin like a err..top if the floyd had recorded this track and put it on "the piper at the gates of dawn" then it would be one of the standout songs. anyway enough chatting go and buy the comps i said about at the top buy this and the whole love, peace, series all great all on "amazon" just please dont make my mistake and buy the american one in the series as it is very, very, poor.(love and peace the intrepid bun xxx)
