Recorded in New Orleans just before the apocalypse, Juan-Carlos Formell stood at the the intersection of love and death and summoned these mesmersingly beautiful and haunting songs from the depths of the collective unconscious of the Caribbean. Brilliant guitar playing, magical voice --so good and so real it hurts. A must have for any record collection.
