I listened to the preview songs on line for this, before purchasing, and was impressed! Nice selections ....Nice variety!!! Plan to transfer songs onto my I-Pod, and use the CD at home!!!!

This is just what I wanted, the music I heard in the Parisian subways and cafes. Romantic, captivating, and ... well, French. C'est manifique!

Although the instrumentals are nice, this CD wasn't quite what I thought it would be. For some reason I thought the songs would be sung, but instead it's all instrumental. If that's what you prefer, then you probably would enjoy this CD... I was just looking for something that included the lyrics; I wanted a collection of classic French songs sung by the original artists. This is definitely not it... guess I didn't do my homework. C'est la vie!

It's one of the most romantic and relaxing cd I've ever bought
and there's not one song that you would like to skip here - it only gets better and better. My hat off to the person who put
this collection together- I will be listening to it forever..

I purchased this CD with another CD that was strictly French Accordian music. This CD contains many French classics, but it won't remind you "street music" you actually hear in Paris. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys classic music, especially when it's French.
