Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great album, but..........2005-10-03

This album is all hard-hitting in your face NYHC, it doesn't get much harder. The lyrics cut you in half and the drum work is especially great, it gives the album such a hard-hitting sound. The instruments are the aural equivalent of a brass-knuckled right to the jaw. I must say however, that the recording style of the vocals leaves Freddy's vocals SLIGHTLY lacking in volume and intensity... his singing style is good and fits well with the music, but the way that it was recorded makes it sound thin, unless you REALLY crank the volume. This is more than likely rectified in later Madball releases.

Overall, however, this album earns 4 1/2 stars and is still worth the money, and Madball still kills.

5 out of 5 stars NYHC THUGGIN AT ITS BEST.......2004-11-28

If you like NYHC you will love this album. It has eveything you could ask for in a hardcore album. Great breakdowns(NYC)and great postive lyrics about stayin true to yourself and what to do too people who have stabbed you in the back. For anyone who is into hardcore or would like venture into hardcore this is the album to buy.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome band.......2003-09-23

madball is an amazing band, watched them live then bought all their cd's this one is the best. New York City is an awesome song, and dont listen to the guy saying that they r sepultura knock offs becuz they are far from it.

5 out of 5 stars This is HARDCORE!.......2003-03-03

This ain't no Sepultura wannabe, I dont' care what some 12 year old who don't know nothin' about nothin' has to say! Anyone who thinks that doesn't know jack-... about HARDCORE! And there ain't no one more Hardcore than MADBALL! This album is as tight as they come! Everything is damn near perfect, from Stigma and Henderson on guitars to Freddy's vocals...its all on target! If you think you like Hardcore, pick this disc up, or anything else by Madball for that matter! If you don't like it, you're an idiot, to say the least...

1 out of 5 stars madball has no skill!!.......2001-11-14

These guys are Sepultura wannabees! If you like this kind of stuff, I recomend the Chaos a.d. album from Sepultura.
