Customer Reviews:
politically incorrect at its best.......2007-02-06
this album was great when we skated back in the day, and it still kicks A@#
Totally Radical Dude!!! .......2006-02-28
This album is solid from beginning to end. It is one of the funnest albums ever made and everyone needs to own it. Billy Milano is a genious who writes so of the best lyrics ever. Just read the lyrics to AIDS. It's funny but true. Even though Billy recycled the Speak English or Die lyrics for U.S.A. for M.O.D. it never gets boring. Just like on S.P.E.O.D. he sings about cerial, freddy, foreigners, moshing etc. Even the mascots are similar, Sgt. D, Corporal Punishment. But who cares, it's still totally radical thrash. If you buy this, and if your not uptight you will listen to it over and over again and love it jujst as much each time.
Classic Thrash!.......2006-02-19
This is a sweet slice of thrash history! Irreverent, sarcastic lyrics with a twisted sense of humor. This cd really brings back memories of my early college days and always brings a smile to my face. Buy it for the fun and grab the precursor "Speak English or Die" while you're at it.
Skatepunk / thrash crossover masterpiece.......2005-08-08
There's so much to be said about this album, that it almost defies description. Billy Milano is a gifted vocalist who can put the angels to shame. His deep and meaningful lyrics fit the finely orchestrated music so beautifully that you wonder how this album was never nodded for a Grammy. This is one of the greatest albums ever released and here's why.....
1. Aren't You Hungry - One of Billy's best known pieces. He has performed it also with S.O.D. "Let them all die hungry so I can breather their air" is writing at it';s best.
2. Get A Real Job "Standing on a corner/frozen to the bone/You gotta make a living/but you'd rather be at home" we've all been there.
3. I Executioner - I always considered this to be a song about Jaques Hermonte. The man that executed Marie Antoinette with a heavy heart.
4. Don't Feed The Bears -"Don't go in there/you best beware/and please don't feed the f***ing bears!"
5. Ballad Of Dio - A rather long song timing in at 4 seconds, but Billy had a lot to say.
6. Thrash Or Be Thrashed - Is there really a better title for any song?
7. Let Me Out - Song about suicide and hating your parents. Billy should have been booked on Oprah to help troubled teens and eventually getting his own show.
8. Bubble Butt - "She's so FAT!!! BBbbbbbbBBBBbbb"
9. You're Beat - Also known as Y.B. The moral is clear. Just give up.
10. Bushwackateas - Nice little song about a bald dude who looks like an elf.
11. Man Of Your Dreams - Just like S.O.D., Billy took Freddy Krueger to M.O.D.
12. That Noise - Another S.O.D. idea performed beautifully. "Don't start that s**t again!"
13. Dead Men/Most/Captain Crunch "S.O.D. needed milk. M.O.D. now just needs Captain Crunch as part of his balanced breakfast."
14. Jim Gordon - Apparantly Jim Gorden is a disturbed individual who killed his mother with a hammer.
15. Imported Society - Billy spreads his message how Hispanics and Jews are taking over the country. "Grab your goat/Get on the boat"
16. Spandex Enormity - The crown jewel of the album. This is perhaps Billy's finest songwriting. About an overweight fan that Billy wants no part of.
17. Short But Sweet - The lyrics are the same as the title.
18. Parents - Another teenage rebellion song. Billy sings how his father would carry groceries up twenty flights of stairs for a nickel.
19. Confusion/You're X'ed - The moral is he'd still be alive if he drove a Cadillac.
20. A.I.D.S. - Anally Inflicted Death Sentence!
Super funny/super fast.......2005-04-19
Anyone who can't find the humor in this is just a major tight ass. This is one of my favorite cd's. I can't put it in my mp3 player when I go running, because even still, after all these years it makes me laugh. Not a good combo. But any other time, just the perfect cd to enjoy all that is Milano and Co. This cd kicks, a classic.
