Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Ratt 'N' Roll!.......2003-09-13

Ratt is one of the finest hard rock bands of the eighties. Who would've thought that Juan Croucier's leaving Dokken to form his own band would bring his far GREATER success than if he'd stayed there? These days, people pass Ratt off as "another one of those hair bands." But these guys were so much more than that. This is the band's greatest hits / best of compilation. Read on for my review of it.

PROS:
-Let me guess. You just want a Ratt compilation so you can get Round And Round. I don't blame you at all. Needless to say, you'll find it on here (oh, and to all you so-called music experts at VH1, RATT WAS NOT A ONE-HIT WONDER.)
-A number of underrated masterpieces also grace this compilation with their presence, bringing the grand total of tracks to nineteen (a GREAT number for a single-disc compilation!)
-It's affordable.
-How could you NOT love a compilation called "Ratt 'N' Roll"?

CONS:
-There really aren't any bad things to say about this compilation, other than the fact that a few excellent album cuts got deprived of their place here (It's hard to represent a band in eighty minutes.)

OVERALL:
Like eighties hard/glam rock? Then this compilation is just what you need. Ratt was one of the decade's most excellent bands, and this compilation demonstrates it nineteen times over!
