Customer Reviews:
there arent words to describe how good this cd is.......2003-10-29
prety much, there isnt anything more that i can say besides that this band was the single best metalcore band EVER. and they are one of the originators of this melodicdeathinfluenced style of metalcore. this cd is worth any amount of money.
My favorite CD of all time.......2003-01-12
This is by far the best metalcore cd i've ever heard, this is what metalcore is all about. The melodies are incredible, I love their choppy style of rhythm and breakdown, and David's lyrics are very inspiring.
This cd is amazing, I incourage you to listen to it, and to spread the word. And while you're at it, get Between The Buried and Me, they consist of ex members from prayer for cleansing, if you're into this type of music, BTBAM will not dissapoint you.
Very ...awesome cd!!!!!!!.......2002-11-22
This is a very very talented metalcore band with incredible taste, sick as...breakdowns CONSTANTLY, also tons of melodic guitar harmonies similar to Unearth or maybe Zao, if you like really cool heavy music somewhere between metal and hardcore you will like this cd alot, the only thing i dont see how it ties in is the straight edge, seeing as how they sonrt of sound like black metal, so i guess the band likes black metal, so what does that have to do with straight edge, isnt that like earth crisis and stuuf like that .
Whatever this cd is nessecary for you to have, one small fault is the kind of messed up production, it sounds like a live recording or something cuz the guitar sort of overwhelms the drums in the mix, so you have to turn it up LOUD, i repeat LOUD to get the full effect .
Great vegan sXe hardcore.......2002-07-04
This CD is incredible. I listen to it all the time and it's impossible to sit still, it's so awesome. If you like Prayer For Cleansing, then you should really enjoy Between The Buried and Me (they're former members of PFC), Hopesfall, From Autumn To Ashes and Further From Forgiven. "Bael Na Mblath" (track 9) is without a doubt the best song on the CD. It [is too bad] that these guys aren't a band anymore
the Reign in endless fall.......2001-06-21
This is really a great CD. A refreshing break from everything that is conventional in the realm of heavy metal. Very rarely have I heard such pride communicated through music. There is an image in this music of climbing to the top of a mountain and finding nothing, but disciples looking up at you as if you are a... well, you decide. The individuals of Prayer for Cleansing are very talented musicains, in my opinion. Probably trained in several genres of music, these people combine classical sounds w/ the most fierce metal. Definitely give this a shot.
