Slaughter's Greatest Hits Live.......2004-12-28

"Extended Versions", one of Slaughter's greatest hits albums, is a cool greatest hits album. All of the songs on here are live songs that first appeared on the 1998 Slaughter live album "Eternal Live", and except for "Rock The World", a song that was written for "Eternal Live", and "Shout It Out", which was originally written and recorded for the motion picture "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey", the rest of the songs on here are all songs that appeared on Slaughter's first two studio albums, "Stick It To Ya" and"The Wild Life". This album has every song (not in order) that appeared on "Eternal Live" except for "Get Use To It" and "Searchin'", and the material on here sounds just as good as it did when it was originally released. Slaughter was another one of those bands who got mixed reviews from their critics, but Slaughter has also been one of the best bands America has ever seen, not just because of their music, but because of the fact that they worried more about what their fans thought then what their critics thought. And plus, after problems with their first record company, the new record company Slaughter found proved to be a really cool record company (this album was released in 2002, when Slaughter was on a year-round break, and who would ever think of the idea of releasing an album with all live songs? It was a great idea that more bands should do. If you like Slaughter, and you liked "Eternal Live", then you should add "Extended Versions" to your album collection.
