Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars hmmm...interesting indeed.......2003-08-05

This is a great band, but there is room for improvement. It takes a few listens to distinguish the difference between the songs and the incoherant screams in between guitar riffs don't help much. I see better things coming in the future.

5 out of 5 stars Arkham Rocks My World.......2002-07-10

This is the best cd ever (next to The Beatles of course) and everyone should go buy it again and again and love it forever and forever. Everything on this album is fantabulous and the guitar player is incendiary!!

5 out of 5 stars Edit of past review..........2002-06-26

I got this album when it first came out. A friend of mine is a friend of the band's, but that has nothing to do with how much I appreciate this band doing what they do, and that's making a good album that's different than what's out right now. Arkham truly has a unique sound, but still maintains the rock genre...it's very hard to describe. I've had the unique experience of seeing many of their shows and when they're either headlining or opening for others, they never fit perfectly...Arkham is either way better than the other bands technically and artistically or Arkham doesn't fit the genre of the evening. They go up on stage with energy and just jam...no pretentiousness or anything like that, which is often the case with some "different" bands. Their newest stuff that I've heard live is excellent and I can't wait to purchase another album from these guys.
