5 out of 5 stars I Love It.......2007-01-20

This Item came promptly, it was in great condition. I love the band, I love the CD, and I couldn't be more pleased with how fast it was shipped to me. Kudos!!

4 out of 5 stars Excellent album that was highly overlooked!!! .......2006-12-13

Now is never a better time to buy this album. Going for as low as a quarter, this album has at least two tracks that most metal fans should know "Vintage Eyes" and "Soft". These were two tracks from this Seattle outfit that were very popular at the time of their relase at the trailing end of the grung era, right before "nu metal" came to the forefront. Reminiscent of sounds of Alice in Chains, Brother Caine, and pre-Godsmack, this band continues to record and make music even to this day because their music is really good. Other noteworthy tracks include Travisty and Unkown Rider. Pick this up, you will like it!!!

4 out of 5 stars There's More to Grunge than the Nirvana era.......2006-03-06

I picked this CD up from the bargain rack, knowing nothing about the band. I was rather nonplussed to hear such a clear Grunge sound from a ... 1998 ... album!

Not that I'm dissing that. I listened to my fair share in the early 90's, and I have "Dirt".

Although well rooted in Grunge, there are other "sounds" layerd in -- hints of The Wallflowers, or Faith No More, or Ozzy, or Guns N Roses. Check out as well the sentimental "Vintage Eyes" and lounge-y track #6, which create a calming center to the CD... before it rocks out again. (And believe me, there is plenty here to pull out that air guitar!)

In my mind though, it's the wailing, Billy Idol-like vocals, that really carry the album. "Electric Head" exemplifies this... a chaotic, clashing, song with both a driving beat and a languid, mournful sections.

This was a 3 star review at first. But I've come back and upped to 4. Grunge lives on!

3 out of 5 stars 1998 remembers this.......2005-10-23

Remember this group kiddies? There two popular songs( "Soft" and "Vintage eyes" make this worth buying used and only used. The rest of the cd kind fades so dont waist a lot of time on it listen to it once and add it to the collection.

5 out of 5 stars Rockin'.......2005-08-13

Anyone already familiar with Second Coming (remember the songs Soft and Vintage Eyes from 1998?) will enjoy this record. The first song off the album is worth asking price alone. I feel that this is a strong follow up record similar sound and all around enjoyable listen. They have evolved abit since their first record but they did not take a departure from their sound on the first record. For those who don't know about this band they come from the grunge/post grunge genre and are some good well written and executed rock. Thier sound is akin to the grunge era think alice in chains-esque music. I usually do not write reviews but this band is something I find myself listening to often. I think this band is for you if you have taken the time to read this review.
