Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars First review, huh?.......2006-04-17

Well, I can't say I didn't feel dissapointed to see that nobody else reviewed this item, but I felt compelled to review it myself. I just bought the CD today, for only six dollars, and I can say this money wasn't too well spent. After only hearing Ancient times, and a few tracks off of the newest one (and one off of their EP as well), I've realized that they are going downhill in creativity. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I could do better, but hear me out on this one:
Ancient times was great, there were rather mellow influences mixed within their melodic metal (not death metal) style, and I liked the overall flow of it. In fact, I've owned their first CD for about a year now and I still listen to it all the time. So after hearing this one next, it's just awful in comparrison, but not an overall awful album. They, for some reason, have decided to go completely all-out, conventional death metal in it's generic and mediocre form, and from the beginning track to the last one, there were very few points that actually struck me as original, mainly just being the last song on the CD. All throughout the CD there were no mellow parts, no experimental... anything at all, and it was just boring. For that, it recieves 2 stars for being a generic death metal album.
