First off, if you added me to my myspace thing, I will still talk to you, especially the people that i became good friends with (you know who you are).

I like Cannibal Corpse. DOn't tell me that anybody can make music like this, because they cna't. It takes more talent to do this kind of music, but never mind. I am really sick of this site, amazon really did get bought by Disney (the _________ entertainment corporation ever). CC Rule, and they are catchy too, and not boring. Catchy catchy catchy that's what they are. Can't deal with that? Oh well.

P.S. Squash N' Squeak, if you had any pride, do you think you would have become so popular on this crappy site if I wouldn't have found you that easily? DOn't give me that _____ either about how "I would have found myslef" because I'll tell you, it took me forever to find my way into it. BEfore, I had no friends on this site, and the only way I found people on this site was because of my discovery of the reviewer Eggplant, and that was because I liked his profile picture (after reading through his reviews, then I realized he's the best reviewer ever). And lastly, don't take this as some _______ insult. Why do people think taht just befcause you don't make something positive, you are automatically being bashed. In real life, we disagree with people and nothing happens, yet people act like it's a Nulcear Attack on the world or something. So dude, let's keep it sane and don't fight okay. Moronic in every sense of the word........2007-01-06

First off, let me say that I'm not offended by CC's lyrics or their album artwork (which I find kind of amusing). I'm sure the band members are normal people, and don't do anything their lyrics talk about (at least I hope not). But even so, this band is one of the most retarded I've ever heard. The music is boring; it all sounds the same! Chris Barnes' growl is way too incomprehendible; seriously, I don't even know why he bothered writing lyrics. But then again, the lyrics obviously didn't take a lot of thought. They're just about necrophelia and smashing people's heads open. Oooh, I'm trembling! When listening to a band like CC, I can understand why people badmouth death metal so much. And come on, "best death metal album ever"? Listen to Death's Symbolic and then listen to this, and tell me which one sounds better. Geez, Chuck Schuldiner must be rolling in his grave.

If you like this band, that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I know the lyrics are meant for entertainment purposes only, but this is just boring and redundant, and the lyrics are just stupid. But go ahead, give me an unhelpful vote for not agreeing with everyone else and not thinking this is a good band. Go on and call me a pu$$y for not liking them and not thinking they're "br00tal". Show that you're ignorant enough to not respect other people's opinions. I'll respect your positive opinion of CC if you respect my negative opinion on this band.

This band is a joke........2007-01-06

I used to love Cannibal Corpse, but after listening to more than two albums, I have to say this stuff gets boring really fast. I'm in no way offended by the really gruesome lyrics and album covers, infact, I think they're pretty cool, but to be exposed to that kind of stuff all the time gets old. The music itself is also boring, as there's not much change between songs. This and many other generic DM bands give death metal a bad name.

If you want to hear the only worthwile CC album, get "Kill." For way better death metal, check out Morbid Angel, Krisiun, Death, Suffocation, Nile, Anata, Pestilence, Hate Eternal, Miscreant, Nocturnus, and others.

Cannibal!!!.......2006-10-10

This album really set the standards for death metal. This just isn't another album, this one is the most brutal of all. Strong subject matter that will put a soundtrack to the life of Ted Bundy.

You think you know who they are.......2006-10-05

You could definately get away with only owning this CD. Don't get me wrong there are other albums that have some stand out tracks, but this album is the most consistent. Let's not pretend that the lyrics make this band. It's cool that they are all about cutting down everything in their path, but that takes a back seat to the relentless agression of the music. If these were instrumentals I would still know that they were telling me they chop up dead hookers for a goof. Put this on when you are smack in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic on a Monday evening and you happen to pull up to a jerk blasting house music. offend everybody - its the greatest freedom we have.
