Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Mr. Agell still rules.......2006-04-03

Yes, this group did live up to the early hype stirred-up in the bands previous incarnation as Loose Cannons (and all those demo tapes that made their way up to Northeast TN,where I used to live) and thankfully this album was very belatedly released on The Music Cartel label after Roadrunner unceremoniously dropped the group.
The album is a strong southern-grooved rocker with many great guitar hooks (check out "Ripe" for a killer Thin Lizzy-style jam) and an extremely strong vocal performance from Karl.
Great songwriting and excellent production by Eli Ball (who also produced ex-Exhorder vocalist Kyle Thomas' Floodgate album around the same time).
I do miss the political slant of Karl's work with COC on the Blind album, which all true metal-heads know to be an underrated early 90s masterpiece, but even COC drifted from their earlier poitical stances when they released the Deliverance and Wiseblood albums. Seems all the southern boys returned to their roots at some point.

BUY THIS ALBUM! You won't regret it.

4 out of 5 stars Rockin'!.......2003-04-28

I bought this album because the singer, Karl Agell, was lead on Corrosion of Conformity's great album "Blind". I am not disappointed. The music doesn't sound like Corrosion, so if you're looking for that you're going to be disappointed, but it's solid and it rocks. Karl's voice and a great band makes for a good time. [Turn] it up and enjoy.
