Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Still Heavy and Still Pretty Decent!.......2006-12-13

Lee Aaron broke through with the Metal Queen release and this one continues in that vain. The style, sound, texture are pretty much intact from the Metal Queen sound or vibe.

This collection of songs aren't quite as strong as the ones found on Metal Queen. The first 4 tunes are very good and the rest are just average really. I always loved the way Lee Aaron belted it out and this one does not disappoint when it comes to lung power. Just listen to Barely Holding On and you'll see just how versatile this singer really was. Anyway, it's a decent listen, probably a 3.7 out of 5 kind of deal.

Pick it up!

This is the best cd to own by Aaron.Released in 1985,this album packs a punch from start to finish.Lee has such a great voice and every song lives with energy and the guitarwork is excellent. This is a must buy album for 80's fans or Lee Aaron fans. Here's my break down of this album.

3 out of 5 stars Somewhat disappointed..........2001-02-07

Made in CAN in 1988, Serial# ACD-1212, Playing Time 45:34

This is Lee Aaron's 3rd album, and, in my opinion, MUCH weaker than "Metal Queen"; my copy has 1 more track than what's listed here, and is the title track of the album, unavailable on the vinyl version.

I'm mainly disappointed probably because I expected so much after "Metal Queen"; the songs are alright but feel "ordinary". It still contains good material, but I wouldn't recommend it as a first choice in her discography.

5 out of 5 stars Not for the faint of heart.......1999-02-14

The old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" would not apply here. From the awesome picture of Lee on the cover to the last note on the album this package is a beautiful gift to any hard rock fan. Lee and her band have a professionalism that is second to none. With John or lead and Lee's angelic vocals this is a treasure to behold. If you don't have Lee Aaron in your collection of rock you haven't even started one yet.
