Stand Up, Stand Up.......2006-05-19
Little Angels was a UK band that delivered AOR/melodic rock with plenty of swagger. While their style was similar to Thunder, another English rock band, Little Angels seemed to draw inspiration from Southern US rock. They also had a healthy appreciation for classic rock like the Doors, Janis Joplin, etc. Their 1991 album, Young Gods, is packed full of barroom rockers, and should appeal to anyone who likes their rock loud and fun. Morose, intellectual alt-rockers need not apply.
NOTE: The Japanese import version of Young Gods includes three additional tracks - Take It Off, Revival, and Jump the Gun.
Young Gods of British rock.......2005-11-25
The Little Angels were a prominent rock band in England in the late 80's and early to mid 90's. In their too short career they acheived a vast amount of success due to explosive live shows, excellent song writing and a dedicated fan base.
The American version of Young Gods is slightly different than the british one. Sacrificing Love is a gun and Smoke in my eyes for Radical your lover and She's a little angel, both from their previous album.
Success in America eluded them unfortunately and they called it a day before the world got to know them. A shame.

Little Angels is an average AOR band that sounds like others & came out too late for its genre. I feel they lacked good songwriting & used filler songs. Although, I love the guitar solo in "Juvenile Offender". They just blended in with the many others trying to make it.
