Hot on the heels of the Nihilist (Entombed) demo-discography comes the Dismember equivalent. Although it could be argued that Dismember spent their entire career in the slipstream of Entombed, this never prevented them being Death Metal legends in their own right.

The three demos compiled here predate the classic `Like An Everflowing Stream' debut that has overshadowed their entire career. Of course, many of the tracks were later re-recorded for that album, but these versions are (even) rougher around the edges, capturing the band's rabid, punk-fuelled Death Metal to an even greater extent.

Metal seldom sounds more savage and genuinely un-hinged than this, but if you've never heard Dismember before - start with the aforementioned debut and work backwards to this point.

I have the BOOTLEG ''demos 88-90'' cd and it KILL's!!

Wanna hear DISMEMBER as a black metal band, well look no further!! LOL..this stuff is just funny, the demo from 88 has been copied by about a thousand extreme band's!!

DISMEMBER was one of the BEST death metal band's that ever lived(DIED) hear them in their infancy and near black metalness today!!!
