Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars The best Pantera's album.......2007-01-18

I have no doubt that Vulgar Display of Power is the best Pantera's album, and I had the chance, in 1993, when they came to Brazil, to be sure that these four guys from Texas are the best musicians of the world.
Pantera is the most important band in underground scenarium. Unfortunately, the band splited-up in 2003, but its compilations will always show how excellent is its work.

5 out of 5 stars What's wrong with your mind?!?.......2007-01-11

Flawless, fierce, insane. Words alone cannot describe this. Fifteen years later, this album continues to deliver like few others can. It's just one of those rare finds. Those who understand, know. Those who don't, too bad. R.I.P. Dimebag.

5 out of 5 stars Revolutionary..........2006-12-31

I have noticed there is quite a bit of hostility among reviewers when it comes to Pantera, I can't fix that but I will try to shed some light on the subject. Pantera speaks to a group of angry, frustrated, and down right sick and tired of the "in crowd" type of individuals. Pantera cried out for individuality, and the concept of thinking for yourself. They revolted against the media notions that have been established in order to control the way we think and feel. I will not go on some trip and claim that Pantera or Phil Anselmo are deities of any sort, but I can personally attest to the fact that they had a huge impact on the shaping of my thoughts and views. They have and always will be my favorite band to listen to when things aren't perfect and I need to let out a little aggression.

5 out of 5 stars DANIEL JOHNSTON NEEDS A 40CAL LOLLYPOP.......2006-12-26

THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ON THAT SUBJECT. TELL DIME'S DAD AND BROTHER IT WASN'T A TRAGEDY..

5 out of 5 stars Daniel Johnston's Gut is a s-bag........2006-12-25

He's just another close-minded idiot, who think Pantera is nu-metal. This is power-groove, if you don't like the genre, then steer clear of this. Not all bands who send a single to HBB and become somewhat popular are this talentless. You don't know a lot about metal. If you have so much respect for Chuck Schuldiner (don't get me wrong here, Death is one of my favorite bands), then at least spell his name correctly.
