Lillian kicks Axe..........2006-11-08

An absolutely great live recording of one of the "hidden gems" of 80's metal. As "live" albums go, this is an excellent recording as the production and sound quality are great. The band's playing is tight and the songs sound as good as ever.
I've always felt Lillian Axe's songs had an anthemic feel to them and that comes across here. Stevie Blaze's guitar playing is as strong as ever and he drives the band throughout. Ron Taylor's vocals are simply put - awesome. He delivers on every level, from the ballads to the powerhouse anthems.
Song highlights include:
Disc 1; Misery Loves Company, All's Fair In Love + War, Deepfreeze, Pullin' The Rats Out, Ghost Of Winter and Fool's Paradise.
Disc 2; Crucified, Nobody Knows, Show A Little Love, Those Who Prey, Dream Of A Lifetime and True Believer.
The album has songs from each of the band's studio albums, so you get a sample throughout their career. As a longtime fan of the band I would suggest getting them all, but this is an excellent addition.

This is the best live CD that I have ever heard. I knew it would be great, but it was even better than I had hoped. Lillian Axe is the coolest band ever! Ron's live vocals were flawless. The music was perfection. Steve Blaze rules as a guitar player, song writer, and true poet! I could go on forever!

This album, from start to finish, is a testament to why this band has stayed in rotation on my CD player. These guys are the real thing. Killer hooks, unbelievable lyrics, phenomenal guitar work. It's all here.

AWESOME LIVE DISC!!!.......2003-08-28

This band is one of the most underated gems of all time! It still boggels my mind, why they did not get the recognition they deserve! They are a mix of Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and a touch of Metal, with their own sound thrown into the mix. Songwriting is very well written with lots of riffs, big drums, big guitars heart felt vocals and all around tight musicianship. These guys are much better live than in the studio! If you like straight forward no frills in your face Rock n Roll, this band is for you!!

AWESOME CD.......2003-02-13

This was a great cd because they do there best work in concert. I love to watch them. I have been to about 10 of their concerts and each one gets better.
