Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A very good return.......2005-08-01

Cinderella was one of the late 80's/early 90's hard rock reference bands. After being caught in the act by Jon Bon Jovi and taken along for his 1986 tour (Slippery when wet, I think) they lifted off and went on their own.
They put out four very good albums (IMHO "Still climbing" the very best of them all) and, once grunge started to position itself among music listeners, died off along with other hairbands (Poison, Ratt, Firehouse, etc.)
"Live from the Gypsy road" does bring back memories. I would have given this album five stars, but I didn't since I believe Cinderella could have very well put out a double live CD, instead of a single one.
They play all the hits, there's no question, but they could have put out some more amazing tunes out. For the moment I can think of "Long cold winter", "Still climbing" and (maybe) "Hard to find the words" (It was going to be "Don't know what you got..." substitute, but it wasn't).
I am, however, satisfied with the result and, given the fact that I own all four Cinderella CD's, I'd encourage anybody who hasn't heard of them to purchase this CD.
