This album combines many great elements of metal and is one of my favorite albums. If you like heavier music meaning death metal, doom, things of that nature this album is for you. Just buy it and youll see why it has such a good rating.

Paradise Lost,mixed with elements of Cradle of Filth,Anthrax,Forbidden,Dream Theater best decribe this excellent dark metal CD. Awesome debut! Great guitar work throughout.The drummer isn't very original or exciting.A more aggressive,driving backbone may take In Ruins to the next level.Pro,top notch material that could improve with a little better production and beats.

What can i say about this band?In Ruins (featuring J. Michael on lead guitar and vocals) have surpassed all other black metal bands that have been introduced to me. From its moody and dark melodies, to its hard hitting rhythms, In Ruins's "Four Seasons of Grey" is a must buy for 99'.
