Customer Reviews:
It's not a bad album but..........2006-10-28
First off this album is way way way to expensive, 70 bucks is way to much, anyways, Kane Roberts is one of the most underatted Guitarists to ever hit the world, he's so good at what he does, and his confidence is amazing, and on this cd it has some good examples of that like, Rock Doll, Tears of Fire, and Outlaw, but those are the only ones that stand out, this album is basically corporate hair metal, its good corporate hair metal, but still corporate hair metal. If it was re - released and brand new for about 13 bucks i'd buy it, but used for 70 bucks is crap for what you get.
One In A Million..........2005-01-28
I Read the Reviews here in Amazon , and i thought its too much damn Expensive , Later then i bought it for 25.00 $ , and i was damn Sure its Worth more Than That , i don't really see the Lyrics are funny , but its incredable!!! , i can't belive this album is 20 years old , and i never heared it before , this record makes you think oh , why i didn't hear that before???, I Should 've heared it before , its a pure 80's and kane voice is unbelievable , background makes you feel you wanna fight , talking about fight , he have like 3 songs about fighting ,i wonder why he never include any song in the movie rocky or Rambo ,some songs sound like Survivor like Eye of the Tiger, Burning Heart, this album is one of my best 5 albums i Ever heared, If You have Any Rare Album , I Could trade with you!! thanx for reading my review.
Far and away, THE funniest album ever made, ever........2005-01-15
This is the most hilarious metal album ever written, I found this record in a used store awhile back and I'll often drop it at parties just to get everyone rolling on the floor. just check out the lyrics for "Full Pull" or "Tears of Fire"... hold on... what am I talking about?! the lyrics for every song are hilarious. extra credit for almost every chorus consisting of the band "shouting out" the name of the song ... check out the cover art of the "rambo of rock"... amazing. btw, the whole band are muscle heads. co-written by kip winger = 'nuff said.
Kaneýs best ever!!!!.......2000-09-21
This album is an outstanding one. When I first haerd it some 12 years ago, it rocked my heart and soul. Not to buying this album would be a major misstake. Itýs worth 10.000 stars. Anyone who knows what Kane is up to now, please send me e-mail.
I CAN SUMMARIZE IN TWO WORDS...BUY IT!.......1999-02-23
Kane Roberts just does not seem capable of putting together a bad collection. Anybody who loves metal, no matter what end of the spectrum, should like his work. His specialty; down and dirty lyrics and wicked guitars plus good vocals. This album appears to be a re-release, done prior to his 1991 "Saints and Sinners" that boasted the song "Twisted" which was blessed with some video play. Kane was part of Alice Cooper's band (as was Kip Winger for you trivia buffs) before he formed his own band. For reasons I don't understand he has remained relatively obscure. Now that most bands, even obscure ones and ones that are disbanded or even dead have websites I haven't even been able to find mention of this man until this album was re-released. Don't worry if the album's an older one, we all know some of the best are the older ones. Don't worry that it's a little more expensive because it's an import, it's worth it! As for other albums you may like if you like this band, well, starting in 1998 and moving forward into early this year there has been a phenomenal amount of activity within bands of this genre. I started cross referencing and came up with some great news! I am happy to report that Sebastian Bach (former Skid Row vocalist) has released his first solo album, and to date it is one I personally would rate as a five star album. Lizzy Borden's last release was 1995, Poison's and Quiet Riot's were 1996 so don't count them out yet. As for the rest...prepare to be surprised. The rest of these bands have new or re-released titles between 1998 and early 1999. AC/DC, Accept, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Bang Tango, Baton Rouge, Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Danger Danger, Dangerous Toys, Def Leppard, Dokken, FireHouse, Great White, Guns 'N Roses, Heavens Edge, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kiss, Kix, L.A. Guns, Metallica, Motley Crue, Mr. Big, Ozzy Osbourne, Ratt, Kane Roberts, Saigon Kick, Scorpions, Slaughter, Sleeze Beez, Steelheart, Twisted Sister, Tyketto, Van Halen, Warrant and Whitesnake. So, to quote Quiet Riot, "Cum On Feel The Noize". (For those who are unfamiliar, that's how they spelled it on the album!) You can start right here with this album, "Kane Roberts"
