Customer Reviews:
Really bad.......2006-06-30
I can't figure out why some people like this album. The songs are pathetic even when not compared to the originals. I highly recomend buying the first Nativity in Black instead of this. Even Naitivty in Black 2 is better than this crap. I wish I could rate this lower than one star. Take my advice as I am a true Black Sabbath fan.
Hell Rules.......2002-05-11
Both Hell Rules albums are the best black sabbath tributes. This cd is awesome! All the tracks have equal awesomeness but i really think the best goes to Hostile Intent or Coffin Texts. This tribute also rules for that fact that it covers 3 eras of Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, and Gillian. All these great death metal/hardcore make these classic songs really good because THEY'RE SO HEAVY! I think on Blood Coven's track, "N.I.B." they change the lyrics for the chorus, but it still sounds good..."im going to kill, i just got to kill" hahah Please buy today and support these awesome underground bands and enjoi!
Excellent death metal tribute disc.......2002-04-02
This CD is really good, these for the most part unheard of death metal hardcore bands remake Sabbaths upbeat hard rock songs into heavy death metal songs. This is the best sabbath tribute album i have heard. My personal favorite is Hate Theory's brutal version of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. The other songs are really awesome but Hate Theory just really did this nicely with their lead singer screaming on top and their bassist singing in a low melodic voice in the background, i suggest any sabbath or any death metal fan to buy this
Best Sabbath Tribute.......1999-12-29
To me the best Sabbath tribute, it doesn't just stay with the same old Ozzy songs and does two Dio Sabbath era songs and a Gillan era song as well. The Ozzy Sabbath songs sound better with death metal vocals than Ozzy nasal singing. Society I's Who Are You? is amazing and light years beyond the original. Debauchery's Paranoid with full growl vocals is also really enjoyable. I have 4 Sabbath tributes and this is the one I actually play.
