3 out of 5 stars Poison meets Junkyard.......2006-08-30

Jetboy was another one of those ill-fated hair metal bands that were signed to MCA Records back in the late 80's and not given any real promotion from the label. Jetboy, which featured former Hanoi Rocks bassist Sam Yaffa, played a slightly bluesier version of the Hollywood hair metal that was so popular at the time. Their sound and image were equal parts Poison, Faster Pussycat, and perhaps Junkyard.

The band's 1988 debut album Feel the Shake is a solid, if unremarkable rock & roll album. Instead of trying the slick and polished power ballad route, Jetboy opted for something of a down and dirty barroom rock sound. It's nothing you haven't heard before, but Feel the Shake is still a fun album that is worth picking up if you're into this kind of music.

another band from "THE BURB'S" movie. not given as much play time but in the background three songs can be heard and are listed in the credits. "FEEL THE SHAKE", "LOCKED IN A CAGE" and "BLOODSTONE".
i just bought it recently and didn't get the Japanese import. didn't know if i'd like it enough to pay extra. a great band having similiar sounds to "POISON" with a style all there own.
any self respecting Burb's fan should own at least the regular release.
then if you like it enough, find the japanese import for better sound quality. personally i can't tell the original release doesn't have superior sound because it blows me away!
we need a release of "THE BURB'S" soundtrack or the bootleg available for fans of the movie to get.
i don't own it, but in a perfect world everyone would own a copy of "THE BURB'S" movie and poke fun at there neighbors...
