Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars just....yuck..........2006-06-14

i was actually GIVEN this CD shortly after it's release. i honestly have to say, it is horrible. don't get me wrong, i enjoy OLD Deicide. Deicide, Once Upon The Cross, Legion and yes, i liked Serpents of The Light as well. but this record...probably one of the worst i've ever heard. the same old regurgitated garbage. the only thing that keeps me interested in hearing new Deicide, is the fact that i realize this was one of the two last records that the band released merely so they could escape their contract with road runner. unfortunately i have not gotten to hear any new Deicide but i surely hope they've redeemed themselves for this record.

1 out of 5 stars Totally cliche death metal band.......2006-03-01

Eh,I prefer to listen to a band where every other word isnt "satan". I mean bible basher is a catchy song that i sorta like and i guess the gift that keeps on giving is....ok.I had this cd at one point and ending up giving it away cause it was repetitive,I did the same thing with "once upon the cross".Besides that, now the hoffman brothers are out of the band.If u want to listen to death metal that doesnt just doesnt scream satan in every sentence try origin, exhumed, lord gore, and cryptopsy

2 out of 5 stars another crappy album.......2006-01-19

anything after Once Upon the Cross is crap, I have no clue to how one of death metal bands that I grew up listening to could put out a album like Serpents of the Light and this.

1 out of 5 stars This is total crap!!! Jeremy Conroy is a complete idiot!!.......2006-01-08

This CD like all other Death metal CD's sound exactly the same. It is all Crap you can't understand the "vocals", Deicide and cannibal Corpse and all other Death metal bands's really BLOW. Jeremy conroy had the nerve to call someone else retarded, when he is a heathen and will go to HELL for listening to this Crappy CD if i could meet Deicide I would KICK THE CRAP out of all those poser pansies who think they"Re cool because they hate god, they will all go to hell and so will anyone who buys this CRAP CD. Deicide REALLY sucks!!!

5 out of 5 stars Best Death Metal Album Ever.......2005-05-03

First off, the 'one star' reviewer below me is either mentally retarded or a christian so don't listen to him or her, second of all, this is my favorite deicide/death metal album ever. This is to death metal what the 'misfits earth A.D.' is to punk. This album is fast, furious, raw and mind blowing. You can also understand what the lead singer is growling about. Buy this album if you know what good death metal is all about. If you don't know what the hell you're talking about, then don't write in a review, when it comes to deicide your opinion doesn't count.
