5 out of 5 stars A Great Metal Record.......2006-03-10

Armored Saint was one of those bands that never got much notice, and its a shame, since "Delirious Nomad" is an album that shouldnt be missed by Metal Fans. Ah, the good old 1980's, with such a different variety of Metal to choose from, and of course the birth of Thrash, Death, and Black Metal came from this era. I guess we could have done without all the hair bands, but some of those bands were much more talented then some of the Nu Metal junk that is around these days. If I had to choose a catagory of where to put Armored Saint, I guess that we could put them Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, yet once again they never had the popularity of those bands. This was also John Bush's first band (the frontman of Anthrax) and to tell you the truth, he was a little bit more ballsy with Saint, yet he is much older, and your voice changes over time. This album shouldnt be missed by any fan of Metal, as I kind of think of it as a lost treasure. Its got some great guitar work here, and once again Bush's vocals are what really makes the album stand out.....SO if you dont got, get it, and ENJOY!

5 out of 5 stars Greatness.......2006-02-08

I went to see Aerosmith in 85? I didn't even know the opening act Armored Saint. Anyhow there I am 2nd row and the show begins. I was blown away! These guys were SOLID. Great songs and a great preformance. I promptly went out and purchsed this tape. I was in love. Now 20 years later, this remains an all time favorite of mine. I followed the band for years and seen em live several times. They were a great live band. And That show in 85 inspired me to play bass. This was their best album bar none but some others were good also.

4 out of 5 stars A Very Underrated Album.......2004-11-03

I think this is the best album the Saint ever made. It is easily better than their debut. The sound is great, complements of Max Norman I believe (Diary of a Madman and other classics). The cover is kind of cool too. My favs have always been Nervous Man, For The Sake, and Aftermath! Dave Prichard was a great guitarist and he deserved more recognition than he got. He was the heart of the band and when he passed away in 1990 (leukemia) the band was never the same. But it's cool that they are still going with John Bush coming back when he has time. I give this album 4.5 Stars. Get it and crank it!!

5 out of 5 stars this CD rules.......2004-03-03

one of the very best Metal CD's of all-time, I bought this back in 1985 and have been listening to it ever since. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Pure Metal.......2001-02-12

This album is another masterpiece from Max Norman. He produced this and succeeded in making the Saints produce there best album. The sound is like another of his masterpieces, License to Kill by Malice but even heavier and with more clarity. It is a sonic masterpiece of pure heaviness, it is this simple if you like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest then you will dig this, no problem.
