Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Good but not excelent.......2007-01-27

This disc is quiet agressive yet melodic, but somehow it doesn't feel like a classic. This is interesting creative metal, but there isn't to much rythmical changes during the songs.

5 out of 5 stars Great Album........2006-08-19

This album reminds me of a greatest hits album. That's how good it is. The quality of each song is very high. You've got two vocalists: one is a growler and the other has a banshee-like screech. Both of them are very good. The music is death metal. Its brutal, yet melodic and catchy. The songs are all distinctly different from each other. I think I even heard some piano in there. But don't let that fool you. Even though there's melody and catchiness, its still rock hard death metal at the core. And with a list price of only $10, you can't go wrong. Seriously, I love metal-particularly death-and this is one of the best extreme metal albums that I've ever heard. Because of the variation and quality of songwriting, you probably won't be bored by it. So give it a try.

4 out of 5 stars Solid. But they still have alot to work on. (3.5 stars).......2006-07-07

Vehemence definitly has the talent to define themselves as one of the greats. They just lack the originality. This album, for the most part, uses the same beats over and over. Their sound resembles a cross between Six Feet Under's older albums at times, but isn't pulled off as well. What we have here is a prime example of un-inspired Death Metal. All Vehemence really needs is a push down the road of inspiration and they will be great.

4 out of 5 stars Good melodic death metal!!!.......2005-09-12

Thanks lord for the creation of death metal, and bands like Vehemence got the chance to show the world how the music is to be. In this album, the production is very clear and so is the record. Good musicianship with change of tempos.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome.......2005-07-28

The boys from Arizona are back with a new full length and this is the best yet from these guys. Although this came out in 2004 and I just bought it recently in june 2005 yet it still rules. I don't think that this is the dreaded "sophomore slump" at all. This is how modern metal anno 2004-05 should sound. Brutal and complex yet full of simple, yet not overpowering melody. While a lot of bands these days are using melody and inadvertently sacrificing their brutality and selling out, This band uses melody to add a dimension to their brutal sound, which bands should try to do more often. The album itself is basically flawlessly executed from start to finish. The drums are clear yet the guitars are thick. The lyrics are much more thought out and deeper in terms of meaning. All in all, this is thus far the defining record of this young bands career.
