5 out of 5 stars The Tough Enough 2 Soundtrack rocks!.......2004-03-28

Let me start of by saying this cd is awesome especially if your a rock fan.
1. Cold-Gone Away 5/5 -Its a great song and makes me wanna cry every time i hear it.
2. Limp Bizkit-Crushed 4/5 -i'm a huge Limp Bizkit fan so i really enjoyed this song. The beginning is awesome.
3. Staind-Take It 4/5 -It's a different kind of Staind then i usually hear from them but i like it. Nice and heavy.
4. Trustcompany-Falling Apart 5/5 -WOW this song has to be one of my favourites on the whole cd. These guys will be really big one day in my opinion.
5. Puddle Of Mudd-Control 2/5 -Like the original more
6. Weezer-Oh Lisa 3/5 -Not bad but theres better
7. Queens Of the Stone Age-Millionaire 5/5 -i love this song. i like how heavy it is and the rythum.
8. Unwritten Law-Seeing Red 5/5 -another one of my favourite songs. the chorus is awesome.
9. Bloodhound Gang-The Bad Touch (remix) 2/5 -not a huge fan of this song. really perverted and odd....
10. Cinder-Break Your Silence 5/5 -i hope these guys become big because this song is awesome. They are definitely really talented. Cant wait to hear more from them.
11. Marz-Out the Cage 2/5 -very explicit lyrics and very heavy. Not a fan of this track.
12. Sinisstar-Freak of Nature 3/5 -good song except the explicit lyrics. The beginning is the best part of the whole song
13. Injected-Faithless 5/5 -another great song on this track. Love the chorus
14. Rob Zombie-Numb 5/5 -one of the best Rob Zombie songs ever. Love it to death another one of my fav songs on the whole track.
*Altogether, this album is a must have!*

4 out of 5 stars PRETTY DAMN GOOD.......2003-02-20

i like the band cold. amazing band. i also liked the song gone away and so i bought this cd. i found a good number of bands and songs here. i find soundtracks and compliations are a good source to find new music. i like trust company's "falling apart" and i never knew staind could sound so heavy. "take it" is a brutal musical assault, although i am a little tired of the voice from staind. .... i heard some of staind's other stuff and was so-so on it but this song is haevy and a great riff. good drums and all in all a killer song.
also worth noting is "break your silence" by cinder. what an amazing sound they get. awesome song whcih i found myself skipping other tracks to hear. following that is a band called marz with "out of the cage." another killer tune and a band to watch. it stuck in my head long after the cd ended.
definitely a cd that surprised me. i did not expect it to be as good as it is.

3 out of 5 stars Good Cd, But Most Songs Are Already Released.......2002-08-11

To get started, I'll say I don't own this album, but I've heard most the songs, so I'll do the best I can reviewing them:
1.Cold-Gone Away-5/5-The best on the album. Not as loud as the rest of Cold's stuff, but still awesome.
2.Limp Bizkit-Crushed-3/5-I have this song on the "End Of Days" soundtrack, and it's not Limp Bizkit. It's Fred and Lethal. It's a good song, but you get tired of it after a while.
3.Staind-Take It-5/5-This is already released on "Break The Cycle", and it's awesome. Very heavy.
4.Trustcompany-Falling Apart-?/5-This is one of the songs I haven't hard.
5.Puddle Of Mudd-Control (Acoustic TRL Version)-2/5-Not near as good as the original, there's not as much emotion put into it. Gets boring.
6.Weezer-Oh Lisa-?/5-See #4.
7.Queens Of The Stone Age-Millionarie-?/5-See previous.
8.Unwritten Law-Seein' Red-5/5-I bought Unwritten Law's "ELVA" after hearing this song, with high expectations of the album. I sold it 2 weeks later. This is the only good Unwritten Law song, and I'm glad they put this on here instead of "Actress/Model" or something like that.
9.Bloodhound Gang-The Bad Touch (Heavy Mix)-5/5-I'm not big on Bloodhound Gang, but the lyrics are hilirious on this, even if it has absolutely nothing to do with "Tough Enough".
10.Cinder-Break Your Silence-?/5-...Again, see #4.
11.Marz-Out Th Cage-?/5-YES, SEE PREVIOUS.
12.Sinisstar-Freak Of Nature-?/5-...
13.Injected-Faithless-?/5-Yep...
14.Rob Zombie-Feel So Numb-5/5-FINALLY! This has to have the best chorus in the world, and one of Zombie's best. Good pick.

2 out of 5 stars What were they thinking?.......2002-06-26

Man, I can't believe Cold, Weezer, and Unwritten Law actually stooped to the level of doing something like this. All the other bands, I can see it, but these guys are way too good to have anything to do with the WWF! 2 stars for a phenomenal new Cold song, but why oh why does it have to be here?

4 out of 5 stars Excellent CD w/ some needless tracks.......2002-06-02

i just bought this cd and i think it is a great cd, but not quite as good as tough enough 1. this is how i rate the songs:

Cold-Gone Away. 9.75/10. an absolutely awesome song that makes me cry every time i hear it. they dont get much better than this.

Limp Bizkit-crushed. 6/10. not one of my favorite tracks, but not bad by any means.

staind-take it. 8.5/10. a nice song that also appears on Break the Cycle. i've already heard it, but an very good track that never gets old.

TRUSTcompany-falling apart. 8.75/10. a very unique band w/ a unique sound. an excellent song, especially if you are tired of the same old sound in rock.

puddle of mudd-control(acoustic version). 7/10. a good song, but it sounds a bit raw and unrefined, and it has nothing on the regular "control".

weezer-oh lisa. 7.5/10. an ok track that has a nice sound but didnt really appeal to me.

queens of the stone age-millionare. 8.5/10. a pretty cool track, especially if you're a hard rock fan. nice guitar work here.

unwritten law-seein red. 9/10. an excellent track with a nice, unpredictable sound. one of the reasons i bought this album.

bloodhound gang-the bad tough(bully remix). 8/10. an odd track with a good, hardcore chorus and some extremely perverted lyrics.

cinder-break your silence. 8.25/10. a sweet, slow track that sounds very heartfelt. wonder why i've never heard of them before

marz-out the cage. 4/10. marz's theory: let's combine a generic rap sound with more "f" words than previously imaginable. no one needs this track.

sinisstar-freak of nature. 6/10. see previous review.

injected-faithless 9.5/10. a very, very sweet track with excellent riffs, great lyrics, and awesome vocals.

rob zombie-feel so numb. 9.75/10. an incredible song that has the best chorus i have ever heard. it misses 10 because its already on the Sinister Urge album, which i had already purchased

overall, this is a top-notch cd that has some awesome songs that rock fans cannot live without.
