Every single song is in the same key. You know what other band does that? Creed. Acid King wants to be like the Melvins, but they barely know how to play their instruments.

i will admit that i was a bit wary of purchasing this at first. the whole look of it doesn't look super "stoner", but more "doom". that's not actually a bad thing, but doom metal tends to be very droney and doesn't have that rocking, jammy feel. if you listen to this genre you know what i mean.

anyway, this begins with 2 wheel nation which is basically just a few really killer riffs with lori's beautiful, almost crooning, voice painting a picture of a biker's heaven. this continues on through out the album. just long, heavy, stoned out riffs with a female singer that knocks the socks off of almost every other vocalist i've heard in the past year.

this is slowly, but surely creeping it's way to one of my favorite albums.
