What is the big hype about these clowns? Dont even start to call my a pussy or say "Have a sense of humor!". I have a sense of humor as much as the next guy. I laugh at Tony Danza. But WTF is this? I just dont see whats so funny abou this. I know these monkeys arent serious but damn! I am very open minded about all kinds of metal everything from Nu-metal to classic metal and maybe a little Death metal. But this is junk. If you listen to this crap I pitty you. If you laugh at this junk you must use alot of drugs or may not be right in the head! This is a novelty band! It is just for the shock value!

I am not only complaining about their lyrics. That aint the half of it. The musicmanship is also completely retarded. I have a friend who loves this stuff and he wont stop playing it! It all sounds exactly the same! Its the same noise repeated over and over again! The guitars sound like somebody crumpleing tin foil and scratching a cat on a blackboard! The drums sound like somebody banging trash cans around. The vocals sound like a rottweiler barking with a microphone tied to its neck!

And you dare to call this "true metal" and everything else is poser? There has been "true metal" long before these clowns ever came along! You are telling me KISS, Led Zeppelin, Poison, Dio, Slayer and the like arent true metal? Dont you dare call me a "pussy who listens to nu-metal" I am very open mined about all kinds of metal. Its not just the lyrics! This is a novelty band and it is just for the shock value. Thats all anybody who likes this band cares about are the lyrics. True metal has nothing to do with lyrics. And I dare not call this true metal. Its just a whole bunch of repetitive noise. No wonder this band has been around for so long and has so many alblums. It takes no talent. If you listen to this junk, get a life and move out of your mother's basement!

I love Gwar. They are so amazing. Get this album. Get this album along with Anthrax's Among the Living, Death's Individual Thought Patterns, and Annihilator's Criteria for a Black Widow. Long live METAL!

Gwar in peak mode .......2006-07-21

The first 6 tracks are probably the best examples of Gwars music ever . The only loser on the cd is Poor Tom . Just kind of a boring song . But The Road Behind is a great power ballad , the kind that should have been dominating the music scene back then , not the pop crap that did . Really , if you're interested in Gwar but don't know where to start , buy this or Scumdogs . Can't miss with either .

I cant believe dave brockie still wants to go through with this band. This is pretty much the soundtrack for the move Phallus In Wonderland. If you can find it at a decent price, buy the goddamn movie too. Buy all of there stuff!
