Customer Reviews:
Great comeback cd!!!.......2007-02-16
Alot of bands from the 80's attempt comeback cd's that blow up in there faces. This is one of there best cd's and a great comeback!!! The song writing has matured and still great guitar playing!!!!! Every song is good and the more you listen to it the more it will grow on you!!!!
Great cd from a great band!!!!
A welcome "Into the Now"........2006-11-03
Tesla's Into the Now definitely has the feel of a rejuvinated, reunited band. After ten long years since their underated gem Bust a Nut they have returned with cuts such as the titled track, Got No Glory, Recognized, What a Shame, and the best song of the album Heaven Nine Eleven show the band take new steps, write about different themes and the songs are very diverse in structure. The music really paints a picture it was a shame they didn't make an album for so long, but they clearly make up for it. It's such a shame they get labeled for being "Hair Metal", "80s Rock", but make no mistake these guys are true rock n rollers and everything from the drums down to the vocals clearly rock. This is a Welcome "Into the Now".
True Metal +.......2006-10-30
Tesla has been classified as a "hair band" so often and although they did wear their hair long and bang their heads, they weren't bound by the limitations of this term. As a guy who lived through the "metal years," I never thought of them in the same way as say; Motley Crue, Cinderalla, Poison, you know? They had a pure rock 'n' roll way about them. No glam. No diabolical lyrics. Without all that baggage they rocked as hard as anyone else. I respect that. "Into The Now," I've got to tell you has all the tried and true metal riffs that we all love. Keith's voice, to me, is a little deeper, more serious. He used to scream more, which made him sound as young as he was back then. There's not a bad song on the album! It's a lot better than "Bust a Nut." That's what amazes me. Tesla, I think, has remained true to themselves.
Can I give 6 or 7 stars?.......2006-02-17
This CD not only brought back pleasant memories from the decade of Hair Metal but also reinforced how talented these guys really are. This is such a great CD. Sure, you have a couple of those lovely, sappy ballads characteristic of such bands but you also have some really good music. I felt some songs were close to the intensity of "Edison's Medicine". Hopefully these guys will not wait forever to give us more music like this.
AWESOME, JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER TESLA CD'S!.......2005-12-21
Short and Sweet here! I bought this the day it was released, March 9th, 2004 and I still listen to it at least twice a week. These guys are one of the best bands to ever come out, anytime, anywhere! They just plain ROCK! If you don't like Tesla, YOU DON'T LIKE ROCK & ROLL!!!
