Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars My first time with Ozzy.......2007-03-16

I remember sneaking this album into my room and cranking the headphones as loud as they'd go. I was hesitant about all the rumors and concerns others had about Ozzy and his tendencise. All I learned was how to appreciate a fantastic tempo, creative lyrics, a sense of self depricating humor, and all about an awesome rock band. This almbum is an icon of its era and one that any self respecting rock and roller has to have in the library.

5 out of 5 stars Seriously.......2007-03-13

If you already have the music DON'T BUY IT!!! I don't want to hear you complain about how stupid the selection of songs on here is or what YOU think should have been included! It's a greatest hits, for god's sake! People should only get greatest hits to hear good introductory songs to the artist, not if they already have it so they can l3itch about the songs they don't like. I got this 3 years ago and it changed my perspective on rock! I have all the ozz's albums now, and i agree that my favorites are missing, but new listeners shouldnt even HAVE favorites! So to all the old dudes who think this collection sucks, go sit in your recliner and whine!

2 out of 5 stars Without Sin.......2007-02-05

You call this a complete or essential collection? there is nothing and I mean nothing on this double disc from "The Ultimate Sin" album. I hate when record companies skip over albums when putting together a retrospect of someone's carrer. "The Ultimate Sin" album was a BIG seller when it came out back in 1986 with such hit's as the Title Track and "Shot In The Dark" as well as other great album tracks "Lightning strikes" & "Never Know Why". How shallow can you get!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Was it good for you too?.......2007-02-02

Are you kidding? This is quintessential Ozzy. Great, great stuff. Can't believe I waited so long to add this to my collection.

5 out of 5 stars good for a compilation..........2007-02-01

as with any compilation, songs are going to be omitted that need to be heard...if i was to own only one ozzy cd this would no doubt be it but where is "believer" and "little dolls" from diary of a madman? so many people (including myself) buy a greateset hits compilation, give it a spin then never go back to purchase any other cd's because they believer they are getting the best of an artist and there is no need to listen to anymore...well you need to pick up diary of a madman as well as it is my single favorite efford from this great artist that is NOT a compilation. still give this effort five starts but lots of songs that are worth a listen that are not on here.
